Priyamani wants a negative role

5th January 2011
For Actress Priyamani, the year 2010 was of mixed fortunes. In addition to some big banner releases in Telugu and Tamil, she marked her entry into Bollywood and Sandalwood. She Says "After Tamil film Paruthiveeran, some of the best roles that came to me in terms of scope for performance have been from Tollywood, like for instance, Shambo Shiva Shambo and Golimaar," In Bollywood, she did small but significant roles in Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan' and RGV's 'Rakth Charitra.' With both the films turning out to be flops at the box office, the actress' performance and acting skills remained unnoticed by the Hindi filmmakers and audience. Consequently, offers from north have dried up for her. When asked about dream role that she would like to do in 2011, Priyamani said that she wanted to do a negative role, something like what Ramya Krishnan did in 'Padayapappa' (Narasimha in Telugu).
