At the time when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s pregnancy was announced last year, quite a few producers like Madhur Bahndarkar and Raj Kumar Santoshi had announced their respective films with Ash in lead.

Though Madhur replaced Ash with Kareena, some like Raj Kumar Santoshi who had announced his "Ladies and Gentlemen" with Ash-Abhi in lead were ready to wait for Aishwarya to get back to work. It is said that a few more offers have been showered on Aishwarya who is currently busy being a mother to her three month old daughter. Ash is taking her own time in coming back to the industry and has expressed to the producers that she’ll need some more time.

Nonetheless the producers who are keen to have the light eyed beauty on board are ready to wait for her for coming months. They have assured her that until she finds it comfortable in starting the shoot, they wouldn’t pressurize her to start the work. It is heard that the actress will get back to work by the year end.
