An actress of high caliber and potential, Radhika Pandit who proved her mettle in films like Olave Jeevana Lekkachara, Hudugaru, Krishnal Love Story, Love Guru, Ghana Bajan, etc. is unnecessarily dragged in to a controversy.

Director Santhu and Ashwini Production were planning to produce a film since a long time and they had even roped in Mahesh, Ganesh's brother for the film. But now when they recently started the song recording of the film, announced that the film is called'Alemaari' and stars Yogish. On the same occasion, they confirmed that Radhika Pandit will be playing the female lead in the film.

This came as a shock for Radhika who said that she had heard the story and her role nine months ago and it was a forgotten matter for her. She did not take any advance nor confirmed the dates.
