One of Kollywood’s most successful actresses Radhika Sarathkumar has bagged a new task in her kitty. She has been elected as the President of Tamil Nadu Chinnathirai Thayarippalargal Sangam, the apex body of content producers of television channels.
Radhika, who is running leading TV content production firm Radaan Media, was elected to the coveted post at an emergency general council meeting of the association, held in Chennai a few days ago.
The meeting was presided over by the association's general secretary Sankar. 'Radhika was elected as president unanimously by all the members. She is planning to implement some important initiatives aimed at benefiting small screen producers,' sources say.
Radhika's husband and popular actor R Sarathkumar is the President of South Indian Film Artistes Association, one of the key bodies of Kollywood. He is also a MLA and the President of a political party called Akila India Samathuva Makkal Katchi.
