Taking a break from his busy schedule, A. R. Rahman is celebrating Ramzan today with his family members. "He is spending the whole day with his mother, wife and children," said a source.

Rahman who had been fasting since the last one month will engage in charity this Ramzan. "Today, a grand biryani feast will be served to the poor and the needy near Rahman's house," revealed a source. 

The great music composer, who is extremely religious as well, has his hands currently full. He is working in a host of Tamil movies, including Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal', Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan', Shankar directed 'I' and Dhanush starrer 'Mariyaan'.

Rahman is a strong believer in destiny and owes all his success to the Almighty. On receiving the Oscars and Grammy's he made it a point to say,"Ella Pugazhum Iraivanukkey" which means 'all thanks to the Lord' or 'Glory to God'.
