Rahul Ravindran to play a challenging role

19th February 2012

Young lad Rahul Ravindhran, who debuted with Ravi Varman’s "Moscowin Kaveri", is a happy man these days.
The young actor is busy with four films including "Vinmeengal" in which he plays a complex role.

The movie deals with the journey of a boy suffering from cerebral palsy — right from his birth to adulthood. Rahul plays the lead protagonist and Anuja Iyer stars opposite him.

Directed by Vignesh Menon, the grandson of late veteran filmmaker K. Shankar, the movie is based on a true-life incident. Vignesh says, "People ask me as why I chose this complicated subject for my debut venture.I have witnessed the trauma of parents with a child suffering from cerebral palsy and stuck in a wheelchair, and it disturbed me for a long time. Though I knew it would be a challenging task to transform it onto the screen, I was determined to do it. Rahul has come up with a stunning performance."

Vishwa and Shika play vital roles in the film.
