Recently producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra had confirmed that the third installment of 'Munnabhai series' is slated to go on floors at the end of the year 2012. Director Rajkumar Hirani has directed the first two installments and has made the franchise as a successful brand. But unfortunately the critically acclaimed director might get replaced in the series. Reportedly it said that Rajesh Mapuskar is the one considered to replace Hirani as a director of the anticipated sequel.
The talked about person is the man who has helmed "Ferrari Ki Sawaari" as well. Talking about his team, Vidhu without divulging any detail claimed that the team works as a family. "Hirani, Mapuskar and I work as a family. We at Vinod Chopra Films work like a family. Now, Hirani has written the dialogues for Mapuskar's film. And Hirani is the biggest director in this country. Tell me, which successful director will want to write dialogues for his assistant's film? " justifies Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Revealing the reason behind delay the filmmaker stated, "I am not going to make a bad "Munna Bhai" movie just to mint money. If that were the case, I would have made the third part two years ago. I am trying to make a great movie. And I am hoping that I shall succeed."
