Just a few days ago we shared a good news that Anurag Kashyap's Raman Raghav 2.0 will be screened at the International Cannes Film Festival 2016. Now there is another good news that Raman Raghav 2.0 will also compete in the Sydney Film Festival along with 11 other competitors.
Anurag Kashyap confirmed this news on twitter, he said, "Raman Raghav 2.0 in competition at Sydney film festival.. screening 18th june.. buy your tickets."
The list of other films with whom Raman raghav 2.0 will compete includes "Apprentice", "Aquarius", "Certain Women", "The Childhood of a Leader", "The Endless River", "Goldstone", "It's Only the End of the World", "Land of Mine", "Letters from War", "Notes on Blindness" and "Viva."
The jury members of the festival are Jury president, international programmer and producer Simon Field (Britain); writer, director and producer Robert Connolly (Australia), Dublin International Film Festival director Gráinne Humphreys (Ireland), producer Bridget Ikin (Australia) and documentarian Kazuhiro Soda (Japan).
The winner will be awarded with a cash prize of $60,000 at the closing ceremony on June 19, 2016.
