A frequent visitor to Chennai, young Telugu actor Rana Daggubati is often called a 'Chennai boy'. As expected, after making his presence felt in Tollywood and Bollywood, the hot and happening star is all set to step into Kollywood.

"I may start a Tamil film probably sometime in the beginning of next year. I am ready to listen to scripts from Kollywood directors. It's my longtime wish to act in a Tamil movie," the actor says.

Grandson of legendary producer Dr D Rama Naidu and nephew to top Tollywood actor Venkatesh, Rana made his debut in Tollywood with 'Leader', a film produced by Kollywood's reputed production house, the AVM.

Later he ventured into Bollywood and is now a close friend to leading stars like Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu. "I feel at home whenever I am in Mumbai with Abhi and Bips,' he had said, sometime back.
