TRS activists disrupted the shooting of Mahesh Babu-starrer 'Dookudu' for half-an-hour besides damaging some vehicles belonging to the film unit at the Vikarabad railway station, on Sunday.

According to Vikarabad police, 'Dookudu' was being shot at the railway station since Sunday morning. The film unit had obtained permission from police to shoot at the location till 5 pm in the evening and about 10 police personnel, headed by a sub-inspector, were assigned for bandobast duty.

As the shoot was progressing, a group of TRS activists arrived at the spot and demanded cancellation of the shoot, saying that it would not be allowed in the Telangana region. They tried to barge onto the film sets but were prevented by the crew. Enraged over this, the activists tried to set the sets ablaze and stoned the vehicles there.

Police immediately swung into action and dispersed the mob. Ranga Reddy SP P Muniswamy said that no one has suffered any injury. "The police immediately took necessary action," he added.
