Deepika Padukone, who is sharing the screen with Superstar Rajinikanth in 'Rana' says, "'Rana' is a special film to me. I have assured the Rajinikanth family that whenever they need me, be it September, October or later, I will adjust my dates. Sometimes, professional relations go beyond the regular; this is one such case."
Stating that she is a great admirer of Rajini, Deepika said, "He is a legend. And when it comes to 'Rana', I am willing to walk that extra mile if required." According to sources close to Rajini, the Superstar is meeting director K S Ravikumar on a daily basis to discuss the progress of works related to 'Rana', a multilingual period film.
"Though he is resting, Rajini keeps himself busy by discussing with Ravikumar and doing research related to 'Rana'. He is planning to start the shoot by the first week of October. There is no truth in reports appeared in a section of the media that the title of the film would be changed due to sentimental reasons. 'Rana' will be the title," add sources.
