Though he is resting in Singapore, Superstar Rajinikanth has asked director K S Ravikumar and others involved in his forthcoming project 'Rana', to resume work soon.

"Shooting of 'Rana' came to a temporary halt after Rajini was hospitalised. Last week, he spoke to Ravikumar over the phone and asked him to restart the work. The Superstar will shoot for the magnum opus from the second week of August," sources say.

Confirming this, Rajini's son-in-law Dhanush and one of the producers of 'Rana' Murali Manohar, have said that "the project is very much on. The film will shape up fast and will hit the screens at the earliest. It will be a grand treat to Rajini fans, who were upset over his health ailment," they said.
