'Avan Ivan', national award winning director's Bala's first 'comedy film', witnessed a bumper opening in theatres all over Tamil Nadu.

Starring Vishal and Arya in lead roles, the film has music by Yuvanshankar Raja. Producers AGS Entertainment, have ensured that the movie was screened in maximum number of cinema halls in the state.

Says Vishal, "Each director has his own style. Bala stands out, because he is patient. Even if it takes a month for a specific shot/scene, he wants the best from his actors. His style of filmmaking for me, was like graduating from Harvard."

Echoing him, Arya, who has already worked with the director in 'Nan Kadavul', says, "more than the subject, it was the portrayal of the character that was challenging. Bala Sir is, no doubt, an expert in it."
