Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has been an ardent football fan and he leaves no stone unturned when given the opportunity to express his inclination towards the sport.

The actor recently spent time playing his favorite sport with the underprivileged kids of an NGO. He also played a charity football match with his film buddies like Abhishek Bachchan opposite Indian cricketers at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The match was organized to garner funds for the underprivileged kids.

"Football is my favorite game. I play it religiously and carry football wherever I travel, so that I can play it as and when I want. For this special match, we all have practiced hard. The idea (charity football match) is a great initiative that will not only promote the sport, but will also help with generating funds for the cause," Ranbir added.

It's great to see the actors come together for a cause and also further spread the popularity of football as a sport in India.
