Ever since the verdict of the Supreme Court was announced against Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, everyday there are pleas from various corners of the industry to pardon the 'Munnabhai' star.

Ranbir Kapoor, who visited Sanjay's residence the day after the verdict was announced, recently stated that he is extremely disturbed by the incident. "I feel bad for what has happened and that he has had to pay a price. I share a wonderful relationship with him and I hope he is relieved of the pain soon," said Ranbir.

The 'Deol' trio too confessed that the verdict has been harsh not only on him but also on his fans. "I feel sad for him, but I am sure he will come out of the rough phase soon. I am sure God will listen to me," said Dharmendra. His sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol too expressed their grief over the incident and shared that they too are praying for him.

Malaika Arora Khan, who has been in great bonds with Sanjay, shared that everyone should pray for him. "He is a great human being. And the verdict has come as a blow to all of us. Sanjay and his family have already been suffering for the past 20 years. All we can do is just hope and pray for his mercy," expressed Malaika.
