Bollywood is going through a season of remakes, as most of the classic songs like 'Dum maaro Dum', and 'Pyaar do pyaar lo' to are been revived to spread the magic, but apart from songs even old films are being re-made to gain and cash in from its glory, 'Sholay' was remade as 'Aag' that bombed at box-office, but in spite of that film-makers are trying their level best to get the best out of the old films by giving them a new look. Hence, even Rohit Shetty is making a remake of the classic comedy 'Angoor' with Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor. The name of the classic film 'Chasme Baddoor' is also added as David Dhawan has declared that he is making its remake but the cast hasn't been finalized as yet. It is presumed that Ranbir Kapoor, Ritesh Deshmukh and Ali Zafar might replace Farooq Sheikh, Ravi Baswani and Rakesh Bedi as the three key protagonists.

Though the cast is not final David Dhawan has stated that he is willing to direct the actors whoever fits the bill and is willing to be a part of project, “I don't wait for an actor. Those who are good in their job, want to work with me, have their dates available and are happy to join me”.
