Ranbir Kapoor is one of the many Bollywood actors who has achieved a lot in a short span of time. Not because he hails from a background filled with stars, but also because he works hard to achieve the best.

Even though Ranbir is a big star in Bollywood, he remains to be the down to earth person that he is. That we saw when he decided to star in 'Wake Up Sid' which was Ayan Mukherjee's directorial venture. 

And now, even though the actor is busy with Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' and 'Besharam', he has decided to star in another friend's film, titled 'Roy'.

The movie will be directed by Vicky Singh who happens to be Ranbir's school friend. Bhushan Kumar who is producing the film confirmed the same stating, "We are happy to come on board as producers for Roy."

Ranbir will play the lead character 'Roy' who is a thief. The film also stars Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez and another female lead is yet to be confirmed.

The project will hit the floors later this year when Ranbir completes his shoot for 'Besharam'.

Talking about the story Vicky said that there will be plenty of action and drama making it a crowd pleaser.
