Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor turns a year older today as he celebrates his 31st birthday. The actor is certainly one of the best who entered Bollywood. From being a background dancer in 'Taal' and doing a few music videos to becoming a top-notch Bollywood heartthrob, Shahid has indeed come a long way.
With a perfect mix of good looks and talent, Shahid mesmerized everyone with his performance in his debut film 'Ishq Vishk', followed by a rainbow of films like 'Vivah', 'Jab We Met', 'Kaminey', 'Badmaash Company', 'Mausam' etc.
Before starting off his career as an actor, Kapoor worked in several music videos and adverts, including the Pepsi commercial with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. In 2003, he was seen in 'Ishq Vishq' as the leading actor opposite Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasurywala. It didn't perform well at the box office but he was critically acclaimed for his act and since then his future took a turn towards success and fame. The actor identifies himself as a vegetarian despite being a part of the 'big bad industry' as it is called.
Shahid is currently shooting for Prabhu Deva's next and he will be paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha. Also, another film of his is expected to go on floors this year titled 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero' opposite Ileana D'Cruz.
