There are many stars who donate a chunk of their earnings toward noble causes of Indian society. While most of them work towards the cause of providing free education, many serve the cause of the ‘girl child’ and others also contribute their earning towards the betterment of the one’s who are suffering from incurable and dreaded diseases.

Ranbir is different and a trendsetter in a league of his own. Ranbir Kapoor was the latest star to appear on the money spinning show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. He was there to promote his forthcoming film ‘Rockstar’ on India’s most loved show. When he won a handsome amount on the quiz program, he too like other stars, decided to donate it for a noble cause. The cause was not the regular one but a global one. He decided to donate the chunk towards the cause of spreading the message of preserving and saving water.

Ranbir who is the brand ambassador of a leading cold-drink brand donated the prize money to the Community Water Initiatives that is initiated by PepsiCo India.
