While many have touted that Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Ra.One’ is inspired by Rajinikanth’s ‘Robot’ it is now being made clear by the King Khan himself that his film, contrary to being ‘inspired by ‘Robot’ has a small tribute to Rajinikanth in a particular scene. While answering media queries at the film’s music release, Shahrukh revealed that his film has one sequence where they have paid their tribute to Indian superhero Rajinikanth whom he respectfully calls “Rajini Sir”.
Further Shahrukh stated that till now Bollywood it’s share of Mother-Son drama flicks but this latest film is an epic tale of the relationship between a father & son. Apart from that he also stated that the film is made from the heart and is the most genuine effort of his career. The film that has Shahrukh Khan in the lead, while Kareena Kapoor plays his love interest, also has Arjun Rampal who plays the title role ‘Ra.One’ the antagonist in the film. It releases on 26th October, 2011.
