Pooja Bhatt's Fish Eye Network Pvt Ltd and Amit Kapoor's Cynozure Networkz have signed writer-director Prawal Raman to helm their next venture. The film titled 'Bad' is inspired by the most sensational jailbreak from Tihar Jail. 

According to sources, Bhatt has roped in Randeep Hooda to play the male lead in the film.

To make the film as real as possible, the makers have brought a former Delhi supercop on board. It is said that this cop was handling the case at that time and he will act as an consultant on the film.

The rest of the cast has not been finalized yet. However, 'Bad' is scheduled to go on floors from June 1, 2013.
