Rebecca Romijn has been force-feeding her twins juice in a bid to get them potty trained.
The American actress and her husband Jerry O'Connell have daughters Dolly and Charlie, who turned three at the end of last year.
Parenting has been a learning process for the pair, who love telling fun stories about the twins. At the moment they are teaching the girls to use their potties, which is more enjoyable than Rebecca had expected.
"Watching them wrap their heads around very basic concepts is interesting. The whole process is the most enjoyable thing I've ever experienced. It's funny - the last few weekends have been dedicated to all of us drinking as much juice as possible, having a no diaper rule, and just practicing going in the potty. That's what I'm doing Saturday nights. But we've been having fun!" she laughed to Parade.
The twins have also started quizzing their parents which Rebecca finds fun.
It's not the first time the actress has discussed potty training. Last year she admitted using underhand tactics to convince her daughters to use the toilet.
"I'm doing something that I shouldn't be doing, which is bribing them with M&M's I'm like, 'If you go pee pee on the potty, you get an M&M,' and they keep going, 'On a plate?'" she laughed. "So every time they go I get the biggest plate I can find [and] put one M&M in the middle of it."
Rebecca was also asked about how she makes her relationship with Jerry work. The pair married in 2007 but she admits the relationship hasn't always been easy.
They work at any problems they do have and she's proud of how solid they are.
"We've been together eight years, and I know we're not breaking any records, but it's Hollywood man, we're getting closer! I don't know if we've unlocked any secrets on how to make a relationship work. It's a process. It's really fun sometimes and sometimes it's not so fun as every married couple knows. It's challenging," she said.
