(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Red Hot Chili Peppers look "off the chain" in the new music promo.

The American rock band are due to release their new album I'm with You later this year, their first offering since 2006's Stadium Arcadium.

The first single from the record is called The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie and the band comprising singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, who replaced John Frusciante in 2009 have been shooting the accompanying video recently. They've taken the usual step of asking rapper Kreayshawn to direct the promo. She has helmed videos before and went to film school, but many fans were unsure she was the right choice.

Kreayshawn insists the doubts were unfounded as she's done a sterling job.

"It's got that organic feel, but it still gives the band a great shine and they look f**king awesome," she enthused. "They are looking off the chain, man. Anthony's in there looking like a swimsuit model."

The rapper added she and Anthony got on very well during the shoot. He had some ideas to add to the promo, but many of them were things she was already considering.

"I talked to Anthony a couple times, and he was like, 'I want to do a couple changes to the video,' but all the changes he had were, like, stuff we were already doing with the video, like slow-motion and stuff. So I was like, 'We're dialled in,'" she told MTV News. "Everyone was completely ready and they came here, they're excited, which makes me even happier... There's a good vibe everywhere."
