RGVs Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju Will Hit Screens This February

5th January 2011

January 5, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Ram Gopal Vermas much awaited Telugu film, which is also a satire on Tollywood, is ready for release. The film is expected to hit screens across South India in early February, reports a source close to the Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju film unit. Earlier reports claimed that Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju was director Ram Gopal Vermas Sankranti gift to the Telugu film industry. However, with a strike in Tollywood and subsequent delay in the films making, Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju will play in theaters only once the post production work of the film is over by the beginning of February. The film cannot be made available in theaters before February because all movie halls have been booked following the strike.

According to reports in the media, Ram Gopal Verma completed the filming of Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju in as less as 75 days. This indeed comes as a surprise in Tollywood where filmmakers often take up close to a year to complete work on their films.

The audio of Ram Gopal Vermas Telugu venture has hit music stands in 2010 and Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju has also received rave reviews for its outstanding music. RGV adopted a unique formula while releasing the music of Katha Screenplay Darsakathvam Appalraju; one song was released in each consecutive week throughout December 2010. Heres hoping that his spoof on Tollywood, strikes a chord with the Telugu audience.
