Akshay Kumar is back with his next film with a bang and it is already in news due its unique subject and storyline. The film 'Toilet:Ek Prem Katha' which leads a strong subject of open defecation is ready with its trailer and is garnering appreciations from the masses. Akshay Kumar shared the trailer on his Twitter handle and captioned it as, "A love that started a revolution! Here's the #ToiletEkPremKathaTrailer @ToiletTheFilm @psbhumi."
The trailer shows Keshav aka Akshay Kumar, who desperately wants to get married. On being born under an unfortunate star, he is forced to get married to a buffalo. Later he gets married to Jaya aka Bhumi Pednekar, who is his love interest from the same village. However, there is no single toilet in his village and their married life turns upside down when Jaya comes to know about this. Keshav takes an oath to build toilets in his village by fighting against the Government and corrupt politicians.
The trailer looks much promising and will definitely help in creating awareness about the issue. Apart from Akshay and Bhumi, the film also stars Divyendu Sharma, Shubha Khote and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles.
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is slated for a release on August 11, 2017.
