Rihanna has flown five fans to Barbados and cooked them dinner.
The pop singer chose the select few for a special trip to her home island. Rihanna decided to make the generous gesture as a way of saying thank you to all her followers for contributing to her success.
"She wanted to show them how grateful she was," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "She figured the best thank you was to cook them tea in her hometown."
Rihanna treated the group to luxury accommodation and paid for their air fares. The privileged fans stayed at the exclusive Sandy Lane hotel on the idyllic Caribbean paradise and dined with the 24-year-old superstar at her own private home on the island.
The Rude Girl singer has recently been announced as the Face of Barbados. Rihanna received the honorary title for her work promoting the island and boosting tourism. The beauty will appear in campaign adverts during her three year contract promoting Barbados, with the material launching in September.
