The superstar has been at the centre of romance drama lately, following Drake and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown's recent brawl. Rihanna's grandmother also passed away just weeks ago and she was left devastated by the loss.

Over the weekend, Rihanna went on a last-minute escape to the Mediterranean for peace of mind.

While vacationing the singer shared her thoughts on relationships with her fans on Twitter.

"Don't let company choose you... CHOOSE YOUR COMPANY! (sic)" she tweeted.

Rihanna seemed to have been reflecting on what she wants in a romantic relationship.

"You don't need the n***a that loves you... You need the n***a that VALUES the phuck outta you!!! #1Love," she wrote.

"Love is the easy part... Respect? Now that's some impressive s**t!!! #1Love

It was suggested that Drake and Chris Brown were fighting over her at New York City nightclub WIP in June.
