Rob Kardashian amazed by DWTS scores

22nd November 2011

Rob Kardashian's high-scoring performances have put him at the top of the scoreboard going into the Dancing with the Stars final result.

The reality TV star and partner Cheryl Burke earned their first perfect 30 this season with a freestyle dance, which saw Rob lifting Cheryl above his head.

His classic waltz also earned him an impressive 27 points out of 30.

"Brilliant!" gushed judge Bruno Tonioli after the freestyle dance.

"You've just given your all. Your family should be proud," added Len Goodman.

Rob was shocked to receive such positive comments. The star was thrilled with the reception.

"I can't believe it still. I cannot!" he told reporters after the show.

"I did not expect to get a perfect score tonight at all, especially with the freestyle, which is the most important dance. So, super happy, shocked, and just excited, really on a good cloud right now."

However, Rob wasn't the only remaining contestant to garner a perfect mark on Monday night.

J.R. Martinez suffered an injury last week, but he and professional partner Karina Smirnoff managed to pull off their performances with gusto.

Their cha-cha-ch failed to impress and was scored 24 out of a 30 but they were later top marks for their freestyle routine.

"Those were the sickest lifts I've ever seen!" Carrie Ann Inaba exclaimed. "Karina, I'm glad you're safe!"

Len Goodman added that the dance revealed two things: "Karina's body and J.R.'s talent!"

Ricki Lake dazzled with a 27-point freestyle dance. The TV star was helicoptered off the dance floor by professional partner Derek Hough.

The pair also performed a cha-cha-ch that earned 27 points.

"You've never been hotter, you've never been sexier," Bruno Toniolo gushed.

After the show, Ricki revealed her anxieties ahead of the final result. Derek has won the coveted mirror ball three times, and the star is feeling the pressure ahead of Tuesday night's showdown.

"Oh God I don't want to be the one that lets him down," she told reporters after the show. "But truthfully, I have done everything I came here to do. I've gotten my body into better shape than probably ever in my life. I feel like I've learned these beautiful dances to the best of my ability. I did a mean freestyle tonight, so I have nothing to be sorry about or unhappy about. Those guys, if one of them wins, then they were the ones that deserve it. I am so happy for all of us."

Dancing with the Star's Mirror Ball Trophy will be awarded to the contestant with the highest combination of judges' scores and viewers' votes on Tuesday night.
