September 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Celebrated heavy metal icon Rob Zombie's upcoming movie project would be called "The Lords Of Salem".

This is going to be a thriller amidst the background of a modernized and contemporary Salem. This is the place where the dwellers obtain a demonic visit from a coven of witches that's 300 years old.

Zombie will be writing the script for the flick during his tour and the movie shoot would begin the next year.

This is the third movie between the team of Haunted Movies and Alliance Films. "Insidious", was the first movie to have come out of this joint venture that was written as well as directed by the "Saw" team of James Wan and Leigh Whannel. The film starred Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne.

"Insidious" recently premiered at the Midnight Madness section of the acclaimed Toronto Film Festival on the 14th of September 14 and instantaneously became the center of a bidding war. This bid was won by Sony Pictures, who will release the film later in 2010. The second movie that is to be released is called "The Bay" and the famous Oscar-winning director Barry Levinson is in charge of it. The movie is presently being shot at South Carolina.
