The Hollywood star was staying at a luxury hotel in Beverly Hills when he made the bizarre demand. He made his first request in the early evening, and kept waiters running up and down from the kitchen to his room until close to midnight.

They made 15 trips to the stars room with the exact same order: one tiny cup of steaming hot espresso, reports National Enquirer.

It remains unknown what Robert was working on, with reports suggesting he may have been reading a new script at the time.

Espresso is a concentrated form of coffee, which is thicker and more potent than other types of the hot beverage. It contains lots of caffeine, so is often used by busy people who need to stay on top of their game throughout the day. (C) Cover Media
