(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson can't believe his Twilight character "ruined [the] bed" during his honeymoon sex scene.

The 25-year-old British actor stars as Edward Cullen in the popular vampire franchise. The final instalments in the series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and Part 2, are due for release in November 2011 and November 2012 respectively.

One of the most hotly anticipated events is the raunchy honeymoon sex sequence, which occurs after Edward marries Bella Swan - played by Robert's real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

The pair have given a joint interview to Entertainment Weekly, where Robert recalls embarrassment at his vampire character ripping bedding with his fangs.

"I wanted to have it as a line so much," he laughed.

"I bit through all the pillows. Every. Single. One. And then he'd start crying.

"By the way, that's what he should be ashamed of in the morning.

"All those beautiful pillows! Egyptian cotton! [Laughs] I ruined this bed!"

Kristen was more overcome by the actual wedding scene than the honeymoon part. The actress found filming her character's marriage to Edward deeply moving.

"It's a trip to watch the wedding scenes especially," she exclaimed.

"It was so volatile and emotional - I was being such a crazy person." (C) Cover Media
