Though the work on Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan's upcoming production 'Go Goa Gone' has commenced since the day it has been announced, the film was deprived of film's lead star Saif Ali Khan's presence. 

Directed by Raj and DK, the film also stars Kunal Khemu and Vir Das as parallel leads. The shooting of the film had commenced with Kunal and Vir, but Saif's absence kept the film getting delayed every single time. 

The main reason that had withheld its completion was film's lead star Saif Ali Khan's lack of dates for his own production.

Saif, who from the past few months has been busy with his films, 'Cocktail' and 'Race 2', didn't have any time for 'Go Goa Gone' which was being made under his own production. 

However, now that he has completed the major portions of his film 'Race 2', and 'Cocktail' too is on the verge of release, he has allotted the upcoming days for 'Go Goa Gone'. The remaining portions which have to be shot with Saif will begin next week.
