In Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero', it is heard that director Rajkumar Santoshi has roped in superstar Salman Khan to play a small role in the film.

Shahid plays the role of a police officer in the film, while Salman's role is kept under wraps. Sources revealed that the two completed the shoot for their part last weekend.

Since Salman is close to the director, when Santoshi approached him, he readily agreed to be a part of the film.

This will be the first time when Salman and Shahid will share the screen together. Unfortunately, the leading lady Ileana D'cruz will not be a part of the scene.
