He is stubborn, believes in self-destruction and extremely angry. This is the best possible way one can describe the trailer of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's next 'Kabir Singh'. 

Trailer shows his cause for being rebellious in his life. A brilliant medical student played by Shahid hits a rough patch in his life post his break up with his onscreen ladylove Kiara. Resulting in him being violent and taking up alcohol and drugs to get over her. His friends also try their level best to get him out of it.

Trailer is a mixture of his aggressive present and past of his romantic love-affair, where falls head over heels for Kiara. 

Kiara convinces us with her shy and soft-spoken medical student character while this is Shahid's second film portraying him as a substance abuse individual after 'Udta Punjab'.

It is the official Bollywood remake of Telugu blockbuster titled 'Arjun Reddy' directed by Sandeep Vanga. Director Sandeep who is roped in to direct the Hindi version as well will mark his Bollywood debut with 'Kabir Singh'.
