News of Sana Khan being charged with allegedly attempting to abduct a 15-year-old girl, and being declared absconding after the charge, recently made headlines.

The actress who will make her debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan in 'Mental' was portrayed in a bad light as the news was reported continously. But Salman didn't buy the story and he made sure to back his co-star.

The actor turned to the social media platform to express his views on the news as he appealed to everyone to step back and question on why Sana would kidnap a 15-year old girl.

In fact, Salman added that the people who have filed the complaint need to be questioned, as accordingly to the actor, they could potentially have the motive to extract money from Sana and also get famous in the process.

Salman, who shares a great rapport with Sana, further shared that he feels that she could be very scared of the way things have turned out in the media, and that could be the reason of her running away from the police as 'jail is not Bigg Boss' house'.

Meanwhile, it is heard that the actress has applied for an anticipatory bail which she will receive by today, May 27. Sana will then explain her side of the story which was blown up to such an extent.
