The couple was so committed to the relationship that it was even reported earlier on the news of Sajid meeting Jacqueline's parents, and that the two were planning to tie the knot soon. The duo was seen together on multiple occasions in the 3-long years of their relationship in tinsel town, and although 'boy friend' Sajid was quite vocal about his love for Jacqueline, the model-turned-actress never openly confirmed her relationship with him.

Although the two have not confirmed the news, based on sources close to them, Sajid and Jacqueline were going through a rough patch in their personal life since early this year. It was their close friends, who always managed to help the two rationalize to be together, but apparently it was Jacqueline, who finally decided to pull the plug for good this time. The reasons being Sajid's over-possessiveness and unwanted interference in Jacqueline's projects that has created a stir between them.

Sajid, who is not comfortable with Jacqueline going too bold on the screen, never approved of her onscreen kissing, and even took keen interest in the projects in her pipeline.
