Vishal these days is singing paeans on Sameera Reddy, his co-star in Vedi, a remake of Telugu hit Souryam. "She is a great actress, good colleague and nice human being," says the actor.

Heaping more laurels on the actress, he says, "We had a great time while shooting for Vedi. She is so simple and understands the demands of the work. She was very co-operative on the sets though she is a big star."

Vedi, produced by Vikram's elder brother Vikram Krishna on GK Film Corporation banner, is directed by Prabhudeva. "I loved Souryam a lot and hence decided to remake it in Tamil," says Vishal.

He however adds, "But I would like to say that director Prabhudeva has changed the screenplay of Souryam and to suit the sensibilities of the Tamil movie audience. I am sure that Vedi will rock Kollywood."
