Sarah Harding: Country living makes exercise tough

19th March 2011

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Sarah Harding says she has too much junk to have a gym at home.

The stunning singer shot to fame as one fifth of pop group Girls Aloud, although she has since gone on to become a successful actress, appearing in movies such as St. Trinian's and its sequel St. Trinian's II: The Legend of Fritton's Gold.

The gorgeous 29-year-old is famed for her edgy look and toned physique, but she has revealed she rarely exercises as she has too much clutter in her home to store any gym equipment. Instead, the beauty indulges in outdoor pursuits to burn calories, and loves living in the countryside.

Well, I dont diet at all. I have a regime that comes and goes but I rarely stick to it. Ive got a FitVibe, which I use every now and again. Its like a Power Plate and we had one when we went on tour, which was amazing, she told Look magazine.

I dont have a gym near me, Id like to get one in my garage but theres no room because I have so much junk. Its difficult now, living outside London, to maintain a strict regime as such. I take the dogs for a walk or a play in the garden but thats about it.

The newly brunette star says there is pressure to always look good in the entertainment industry. She says its difficult to always remain body confident when her and her fellow band mates are constantly under scrutiny.

Yes I feel under pressure to look good, especially doing what I do. When youre in the public eye youre always going to scrutinise yourself and other people will to. Youre going to want to look a certain way and try to maintain that and its difficult, she explained. I mean, Im not at my skinniest anymore because Im not dancing as much but its all to do with where you are and what youre up to. (C) Cover Media
