(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sarah Michelle Gellar says her secret to staying out of the media spotlight is not "flaunting" her relationship.

The 34-year-old actress has been married to Freddie Prinze Jr for nine years, tying the knot after two years of dating.

Although they starred together in Scooby Doo and have had high-profile roles, Sarah says she is mindful about keeping her relationship out of the public eye.

"I think if you're able to walk that line from the beginning you'll find people have to be respectful of it," the Buffy star explained. "We've never flaunted our relationship."

Sarah gave birth to the couple's daughter Charlotte Grace in 2009 and says because of this it is unlikely they will ever work together again.

"I don't think it's an option now," she told Entertainment Weekly. "Because we make it a point that one of us is home with our daughter. I'd love to get him to guest star on [Ringer] for an episode because it would be fun, but we'll see.

Sarah plays a woman who adopts the identity of her twin sister to get out of trouble and actually acts in both roles. (C) Cover Media
