Scarlett Johansson "couldn't stop smiling" while having breakfast with her beau.

The actress and her new boyfriend Nate Naylor have been seen frolicking around New York City in recent weeks.

The chemistry between Scarlett and Nate as they shared an intimate breakfast with one another at Madison diner was palpable.

The couple appeared enamoured with one other.

"Scarlett and Nate couldn't stop smiling," an eyewitness told Life & Style magazine. "He also shared some food with her, which was very nice. They were definitely acting like boyfriend and girlfriend. It was all very natural."

Scarlett and Nate appeared content in each other's company.

"They were very comfortable and happy together while eating," another diner witness told the magazine. "They weren't in a rush and seemed relaxed. They sat in the back corner."

Nate works as a creative and art director in New York City. He was born in Arizona and has worked at several big advertising agencies including one in Amsterdam.

Scarlett and Nate met through friends six months ago. They started dating around a month later and things are thought to be going well.

Scarlett's marriage to Ryan Reynolds broke down in 2010 and she went on to date Sean Penn for several months.

Ryan is now in a relationship with Blake Lively.
