'Secret Superstar' which features the 'Dangal' actor Zaira Wasim in a lead role. The film is all set to hit theatres in a few days but the applauds and appreciation are greeting the film already. The movie received a warm welcome standing ovation at its first copy screening by the audiences. Aamir Khan wanted to watch the film before going to Istanbul. Henceforth, a special screening was conducted for the cast of the film including Aamir who will be seen playing a cameo in the film.

Everyone present during the first copy screening was so impressed and mesmerized by the film that they couldn't resist giving a standing ovation. Moreover, music composer Amit Trivedi was also present in the screening, spoke that he has been working on the songs of the film for almost 18 months and followed by watching the movie innumerable times, he was still moved after watching it again. 

He added that great films are timeless and he had a lovely experience working in the film. Amit also thanked the director for giving him the opportunity to work on the project.

The trailer of the film received a positive response from the audiences from the special screening. The film conveys a story of a girl who aspires to be a singer but her father is against her dream, however, she finds her way out to hide identity while uploading a first singing video on the internet.

Directed by Advait Chandan, 'Secret Superstar' is all set to hit the theatres on October 19.
