The American stars are rumoured to have been romancing for several months, but only went public with their relationship at Februarys lavish bash. The pair were seen with their arms around each other at the event, and even appeared to have colour-coded their outfits Selena wore a red gown, while Justin accentuated his dark suit with a red handkerchief.

Selena appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night and spoke about the party. She stopped short of revealing too much about her relationship with 17-year-old Justin, but admitted the night was a lot of fun.

Oh, that's cute, she said, when David showed a picture of her with Justin.

It was like a little prom night, wasn't it?" he asked her, prompting the reply: Looked like it.

Selena, 18, seemed uncomfortable when she was asked for more information about the burgeoning romance, but did admit the pair have been friends for two years.

David began quizzing her on where she met the Canadian star, joking he must have been her paper boy or something.

Selena giggled at the comment, before revealing their initial meet up was actually engineered by people close to them.

Actually, his manager called my mom, who's my manager, she smiled.
