Shahid Kapoor's next [BGMC] 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' to start from February 9 and the actor has started learning the North Indian language 'Garhwali'. The 'Padmaavat' actor will play a local lad from Uttarakhand in this film. He has already started prepping up for the role. He even hired a language coach from Uttarakhand.
Taking up that accent from the Garhwali dialect is a difficult task as only a few people know about this language. Moreover, Shahid will travel to Uttarakhand from the first week of February. The film will be shot in Rishikesh, Tehri, Haridwar, Mussoorie and Nainital.
Producer Prernaa Arora was heard quoting, "I've very rarely seen such passion and dedication in any actor. Shahid Kapoor is completely involved in getting his character right. He is getting the clothes, the body language and the spoken language right. He has hired a coach to learn the local language. It's very inspiring for a relatively new producer like me to work with an actor so focused. I am enjoying the experience of working with Shahid Kapoor."
'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is set to hit theatres on August 31, 2018, The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.
