Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor it seems that after spending a complete decade in the Hindi film industry is all set to carry forward his career as the actor is now considering taking up production as his next step. Shahid reportedly is keen to turn producer and launch his own production house.

He has been mulling over the thought for some time now and will finally take a call over this in coming days. With this buzz it was even assumed that Shahid might don the director’s hat considering his inclination towards the art of filmmaking. But he as of now is just interested in producing the films rather than indulging in creative aspects of the film. As far as direction is concerned he wants his father Pankaj Kapur to take on the responsibility for his supposed productions.

Shahid is not the only one amongst the current top stars considering the option of launching their own production house as stars like John Abraham, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor too have decided to spread their wings in the other filmmaking business as well.
