Shree Narayan Singh directorial 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' starring Shahid Kapoor and 'Shraddha Kapoor' in the lead is currently shooting at Dehradun and looks like Shahid is enjoying every moment of it. A day after sharing the 'tongue and cheek' picture with co-star Shraddha, Shahid shares an euphoric pic showing off his brightest smile which is a still from the film.

Shahid shared an image on his official Instagram handle and just captioned it with a bulb emoji. The film has faced a lot of controversies for quite a while as the film's shooting was stalled in April when producer Prernaa Arora allegedly failed to pay wages to the crew. Previously when the shoot of the film got cancelled a source close to the making stated,"Though shooting got stalled, Shahid didn’t waste time. He was rehearsing for two songs of the film." 

Moreover, writers of the film, Sidharth Singh and Garima Wahal, have also accused Shree of copyright infringement. 

Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is a story of a village where there is no electricity but still, they are being charged for its usage. The film is slated to release on August 31.
