The actress is known for her mastery within badminton circles. Ever since the inception of her participation in the State Level Badminton tournament she has been in the sports headlines, credit to her perseverance and dedication to the game she fondly loves.

Her motivation led her to a new success level a few days ago, when she was succeeded both in the doubles and mixed doubles at the rating tournament held in Trichy. 

According to a press release, Shalini bagged the runners up position in not just the Womens doubles but also the Mixed doubles, after her valiant and extraordinary match with Priya and Prakash.

The top ranked players will clash in the State Level Badminton championships to be held in Nagercoil later this month and it has been attracting wide attention after Shalini who was ranked in the top confirmed her participation.
