Yesteryear actor, Shashi Kapoor's son, Kunal Kapoor was last seen in Shyam Benegal's film, 'Trikal' in 1985 and the grapevine is that he has agreed to play Amy Jackson's doting father based in Europe in Akshay Kumar's upcoming comedy.

The actor has been cajoled by Ashvini Yardi to star in 'Singh is Bling'. Salman Khan once tried to convince Kunal to return to acting while he was shooting for 'Jai Ho' and Kunal was lineproducing in Europe for the film but he failed.

Kunal laughed off saying, "Come on, I can't go back to acting after 30 years!" However, Kunal's old friend, Ashvini nailed it in convincing him to return to acting.
