Actor-turned-director, Shashikumar is known for doing innovative things!
The novel approach that he adopted for releasing the audio of his next venture, 'Sundarapandian' has won the admiration of all. Shashi chose to have a launch in the presence of his mentor, Bala and he honoured all technicians who worked with him non-stop for 95 days for making the movie.
He also, felicitated two individuals - his associate 'Socrates' who will be making a movie starring Shashikumar and Kannada producer, K. Manju, who is producing a movie with Shashi in the lead.
The event was showcased on Sun TV which holds the film's satellite rights. This has won the admiration of everybody in the industry, who now want to go the same way.
It may be recalled that for his maiden venture 'Subramaniapuram', he had the audio launch where the then up-and-coming filmmakers, Simbhu Devan, Balaji Sakthivel, Ameer and Gautham Menon were present.
In ithe films '100-day' function, the same directors were felicitated for their work!
His second production venture 'Pasanga' witnessed the guru-sishya coming together.
Musician Balamuralikrishna released the audio along with his protege Kamal Haasan.
For 'Eeasan', he brought filmmakers from various languages under one roof - Anurag Kashyap (Hindi), Ranjith (Malayalam), Yograj Bhat (Kannada) and Trivikram Srinas (Telugu).
He also honoured Ramanarayanan on the completion of his 100th film!
