Post Sonakshi Sinha’s flattering comments over Ranveer Singh on a chat show had stirred a controversy of their link up, the duo had individually clarified that there’s nothing brewing between them. Later when they signed "Lootera"  they had declared in media that they were merely co-stars and were not dating each other.

However it seems that Sonakshi forgot to clear the air over her link up with her father Shatrughan Sinha who is known for his strict nature. While the duo has been shooting for their film in Kolkata, the reports over their camaraderie have been making news since last few days. And this left Shatrughan Sinha irked and fumed over the whole issue of his daughter being linked to her co-star.

It is said that Shatrughan Sinha made a huge hue and cry over the issue and constantly kept tabs over the shooting development. Nonetheless Producer Vikas Bahl vouched for their professionalism as he claimed that Ranveer and Sonakshi were nothing more than co-stars. "I can vouch for this that there's nothing between the two," he added.
