Recently an unusual auction was held by Rahul Bose’s ‘The Foundation’ charity organization where they auctioned some historical pieces of sports world. And it was in the same auction where legendary athlete Milkha Singh’s shoes which he had worn during Rome Olympics were bought for a humongous Rs. 24 lakhs.

However not many know that it were the makers of "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" who had bought the shoes as they wanted to pay an ode to the Indian athlete by gifting him the shoes.

But Milkha Singh being the humblest of all has decided to gift the same set shoes to Farhan Akhtar who plays Milkha’s real life on reel screen in the afore mentioned film. Milkha wants to gift the shoes as a token of luck to Farhan who is expected to start shooting of the film "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" very soon.
